Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Readyby (the "App"), provided by Dropfeed LLC ("Dropfeed," "we," "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Readyby lets Shopify merchants offer pickup and local-delivery date scheduling. You configure the notice you need — store-wide and per product — along with a same-day cutoff, the days you're open, blackout dates, a booking window, and a daily order cap. Shoppers choose a date, and optionally a time window and fulfillment method, on the product page; their choice is recorded on the order.

2. Eligibility

You must have an active Shopify store and the authority to install apps and modify content on it. You are responsible for activity in your account.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

• The App offers a free tier and a paid plan. Paid subscriptions are billed through Shopify's Billing API and appear on your Shopify invoice.
• Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the App's Plans page or by uninstalling the App; cancellation stops future charges and Shopify applies any prorated credit.
• Except where required by law or Shopify policy, fees are non-refundable.
• Plan limits are described in the App and on our listing. On the free plan, once you reach the monthly allowance of scheduled orders, the date picker stops appearing on your storefront until the next calendar month or until you upgrade. Customers can still place orders; they simply cannot choose a ready-by date, and the App does not block your add-to-cart button because of the limit.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including: using it for unlawful content, attempting to bypass plan limits or security, reselling the service, or overloading the system. We may suspend access for violations.

5. Store configuration and scheduling accuracy

• You are responsible for the schedule you configure — lead times, cutoff, open days, capacity caps, blackout dates, time zone, and per-product rules — and for keeping them current. Place a test order before promoting scheduled pickup or delivery to customers.
• The App calculates available dates from the settings you provide, in the store time zone you select. It does not verify your actual production capacity, staffing, or courier availability, and it cannot know about closures you haven't entered.
• Fulfilling an order by the date a customer selected remains your responsibility. We do not guarantee any specific sales, conversion, on-time-fulfillment, or revenue outcome.
• If you list allowed postal codes, the App asks a shopper who chooses local delivery for their postal code and prevents them from selecting a delivery date when it falls outside your list. This is a convenience check in the storefront, not a guarantee: it does not replace Shopify's own delivery zones, and you remain responsible for confirming you can deliver to an address before fulfilling.
• The delivery fee you configure is displayed to shoppers only. The App does not charge it — set the actual charge in Shopify's local delivery settings so it applies at checkout.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your store data and of the schedules and content you configure using the App. Dropfeed retains all rights in the App itself, including its software, design, and trademarks.

7. Third-party services

The App relies on Shopify and on our hosting provider (see our Privacy Policy). Your use of those services is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dropfeed will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Dropfeed against claims arising from your use of the App or content you publish in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to comply with law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
