Saving that follows you down the page
- Banner settings now saves from Shopify’s own save bar. It appears at the top of the screen the moment you change something and stays there as you scroll, so Save is never out of reach. The old Save row at the bottom is gone, because two Save buttons on one page is one too many. Shopify also warns you now if you navigate away using its own menu, which nothing inside the app could catch before.
- Discard sits next to Save. It puts every field back to what is currently saved, and the live preview with it. Nothing to confirm, and the page does not reload.
July 2026: Consent log & audits
A cleaner audit trail
- Excel consent-log export. Your consent log now downloads as a formatted Excel file with clear Yes/No columns, bold headers, filters, and a consent-version stamp that records which notice a visitor saw — exactly what auditors and data-protection authorities ask for.
July 2026: Banner polish
A sharper banner & preferences experience
- Preferences modal. A centered preferences panel with on/off toggles per category, and a clear “saved” confirmation when a visitor makes a choice.
- Centered popup. The popup layout now sits properly in the center of the screen.
- Live previews. Banner settings now show a live preview of both your banner and the preferences panel in your own colors, so you can see it before you save.
