OnBrand AI reads your catalog directly from Shopify — there's no import or sync step. When you open the Generate screen, your most recently updated products load automatically. For larger catalogs the list is paged: click Load more products to fetch the next set, or use the Search box to find a product by title. Anything you add or change in Shopify shows up the next time you open or refresh the screen.
When you generate several products at once, each new description is compared against the others. Anything too similar is automatically rewritten, so no two products read the same — better for shoppers and for search.
Set once and applied to every description, SEO field, and alt tag. Update or clear it anytime under Brand voice.
Choose length (short / medium / long), style (paragraphs, bullet points, or paragraph + bullets), and keywords to include. The output follows your choices, and a live Preview shows exactly how it will look on your store.
Generated copy is never applied automatically. Edit fields by hand (free), regenerate the whole product for a fresh take, or discard a suggestion — then publish only what you approve.
Pricing is flat and monthly — no per-credit metering and no overage charges. Your plan includes a set number of products per month:
Your usage bar on the Generate screen shows how many you've used this month. Limits reset at the start of each calendar month. If you hit your limit, generation pauses until next month or you upgrade — you're never billed for going over. Billing runs through Shopify, and you can cancel anytime from the Plans screen.
No. Everything is shown for review first. Your store is only updated when you click Publish.
Before publishing, click Discard. After publishing, you can clear a description from the Products screen, or regenerate and publish a new version.
No. OnBrand AI only reads and writes product catalog content (titles, descriptions, tags, images and alt text). It does not access customers, orders, or payment data.
The Image alt text field shows a note instead. Add an image in Shopify and alt text will apply.
No — the allowance resets each calendar month.
Yes. Each Regenerate creates a fresh AI version of the product and counts as one generation. Editing the text by hand is always free — so you can fine-tune wording without using another credit.
Cancel anytime from the Plans screen (or from Shopify's billing settings, or by uninstalling). Cancelling stops billing immediately, and Shopify credits back the unused portion of the month on your invoice — you only pay for the time you used.
Uninstalling automatically cancels the subscription (standard Shopify behavior). If you reinstall, you'll start on the Free plan until you pick a plan again. Your monthly usage count is preserved for the calendar month.
