Saving that follows you down the page
- Your brand voice now saves from Shopify’s own save bar. It appears at the top of the screen the moment you change something and stays there as you scroll, so Save is never out of reach. The old Save button under the guidelines box is gone, because two Save buttons on one page is one too many. Shopify also warns you now if you navigate away using its own menu, which nothing inside the app could catch before.
- Discard sits next to Save. It puts the guidelines box and the questionnaire back to how the page loaded. The separate Clear button is unchanged: that empties the box you are typing in, which is a different thing from throwing away your edits.
